Overview

Originally designed by Addison Mizner, in 1926, The Boca Raton has reigned as an icon of elegance for more than 85 years. In order to stay competitive and appeal to a younger demographic, resort owners and developers completed a series of enhancements and transformations that have touched all areas of the property including new public spaces, notable restaurants, and renovated and refurbished guest rooms.

The hardscape and landscape for the pool areas, as well as dated wings of the hotel were renovated to a sleek, more modern style while preserving the old world charm and character of the original design.

EDSA provided overall master planning services as well as detailed design for the new tennis center and parking garage, tennis pro shop and fitness center, guard house, and convention center. EDSA also provided permitting and collateral for marketing and investment information for the resort.

A Resort Reimagined

Drawing from Mizner’s original philosophy and vision, EDSA joined an ensemble of world-renowned designers in efforts of creating a fresh new look and feel to the legendary, 835-room resort.
