Haichang Automobile City & Theme Park

The Haichang Automobile City draws its inspiration from the unique union of the automobile industry and the natural surroundings which define the region. The development has been designed to serve as both a physical and philosophical transect between the industrial history and production of automobiles with the scenic beauty and cultural significance of Black Mountain. The program includes an Automobile Theme Park, European Village, mixed-use district, an 18-hole golf course, natural preserve and landscape park, as well as supporting residential uses throughout the site. Celebrating the natural amenities, the landscape preserve areas and the ecological park will exist as the core environmental element linking the community through a series of trails, greenways and passive recreational facilities. This features serves to provide a balance to the active experiences as well as a transition area to the lower density residential uses within the project.

EDSA performed initial planning studies to aid in the development of the conceptual land use plan.
