Seminole Casino Coconut Creek

The Seminole Tribe of Florida’s master plan expansion of the existing Coconut Creek casino in South Florida is anticipated to ultimately include expanded gaming, hotel, entertainment, retail, and food & beverage venues. The overriding planning and design philosophy for the 40-acre property incorporates a strong regional aesthetic supported by a commitment to LEED standards for design, construction, and operation. Phase 1 of the master plan expansion includes a casino, restaurant and event center supported by a 2,700 space parking deck. The exterior expression of the new construction plays heavily on displays of green technology including green walls, biofiltration of storm runoff, rooftop shade canopies with solar collectors all originating from regional building materials. The guest arrival experience is intuitive, and features large scale native landscape elements adapted to low irrigation requirements.

EDSA provided master planning for exterior space programming, entitlement support, landscape architectural concept development, and detailed design / construction administration for the successfully completed Phase 1 development.
