Derek Gagne, PLA, ASLA, Associate Principal
Fueled by his global project experiences and personal travels, Derek is inspired by the understanding and application of movement, space and context. He strives to blend the intrinsic qualities of a site with essential design elements to form a narrative that elevates the user experience. Prioritizing functionality and craftsmanship, Derek’s diverse portfolio of resorts, residential properties and public realm assignments are destination treasures that serve as nodes for social, cultural and ecological enrichment. His ability to discover and articulate robust, invigorating design concepts is showcased in his mastery of extending patterns, textures and forms into a cohesive continuum.
