Landscape Architecture Foundation Minority Scholarship

Through the endowments established by generous sponsors, the Landscape Architecture Foundation has awarded over $1.25 million in scholarships to 570 students since 1986. These awards support new generations of landscape architects by recognizing leadership, rewarding superior student performance, encouraging diversity, supporting original research, and assisting students with unmet financial need.

Edward D. Stone, Jr. Travel Initiative

The EDSA studio experience reinforces the firm’s core values of being an absorbent observer and leveraging our collective brilliance. Promoting education through group travel, EDSA teams are encouraged to enhance design sensibilities, broaden global perspectives, and escape their comfort zones by learning through exploration. Upon return, teams present their experiences, convey knowledge gained, and incorporate new skills and ideas into practice.

Joseph J. Lalli Design Fellowship

In celebration of former EDSA President Joseph J. Lalli’s legacy, the annual designation is granted to an EDSA employee who presents a compelling proposal to travel and immerse themselves in a location or culture to better understand the attributes of that place.
