Lake Nona Town Center

The Lake Nona Town Center provides an impressive collection of offerings including restaurants, a four-story office, a dual-brand Marriott Hotel and an outdoor event facility. Strengthening public comradery and the local economy, the open-air complex is strategically situated to support surrounding schools, hospitals, and residences. EDSA’s design of the exterior spaces, arrival gateway, and circulation nodes, creates an immersive hub that cultivates social activity. Taking cues from its adjacent medical context, the site’s central node features a stethoscope shaped lawn highlighting a signature multimedia experience. Based on a need for flexibility and effortless transitions, the concept utilizes a continuous paving pattern, curb-less streetscapes, and retractable bollards to unify pedestrian pathways and allow for ease of movement as well as malleable event space.

Since opening the town center has successfully hosted a variety of large events such as Tour de Cure, the Daily City Food Truck Bazaar, and Happy Hour with Orlando City. EDSA provided full services from conceptual design through construction administration for the burgeoning hotspot.
