Al Ain Wildlife Park & Resort

The Al Ain Wildlife Park & Resort is deeply rooted in cultural heritage, conservation, and environmental stewardship. Stemming from the vision of the late Sheikh Zayed, the ambitious project contains a mix of luxury resort accommodations, tranquil residential communities, and themed retail outlets. Each unique area is surrounded by the natural beauty and biodiversity of the created “deserts of the world” landscapes. Offering a unique leisure, learning, and living experience, the multi-billion Dirham development transformed the core zoo area into a recreational facility for exhibiting and conserving wildlife within the desert habitats of Africa, Arabia, and Asia. The crown jewel of the development is the Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Centre that features interpretive displays and educational exhibits that provide historical context and modern measures of sustainable practices related to desert wildlife and habitats.

EDSA led a multi-disciplinary team of consultants with the goal of encouraging life-long respect for the complex desert ecosystem and the symbiotic relationships between people, culture, and the environment.
