Overview

After being devastated by Hurricane Omar, EDSA aided in the refurbishment of the 140-hectare resort property. Designed to reflect the atmosphere of a West Indian plantation great house, the main public areas are stately yet entirely inviting with “pockets of privacy” created by the landscape design. The open-air resort was the first in the Caribbean to combine top flight golf with a standout luxury accommodations, plus a great beach.

The reconstruction features 350 villas, a 196-room hotel, 18-hole Robert Trent Jones II golf course, 10 tennis courts, multiple infinity-edge swimming pools, world-class spa, beach club, community activity center, and a variety of shops.

EDSA provided team coordination and production of the overall master plan, including a study of the environmental aspects of the site.
