Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World

A centerpiece feature lake defines the synergy of the 444-room luxury resort property, tying back and uniting vistas, gardens, and structures throughout the site. The design transitions from formal Mediterranean gardens, sculptured tunnels of crape myrtle trees, and framed colonnades of Italian cypress to a natural Florida experience at the amenity island. The 5-acre, family-oriented Explorer Island features a lazy river winding around a “ruined” mansion, climbing wall, family pool with dive in movie theater, and playground set within a hammock of curved and leaning sabal palms. Aligned with terraced decks, the mansion’s iconic tower has two 30’ drop slides. The kid’s activity pool features interactive pop jet fountains complete with fog and dynamite blasts. In addition, the property includes meeting space, a rooftop restaurant, spa, adult pool, tennis courts, wedding pavilion, multiple outdoor function areas, and branded Four Seasons Residences.

EDSA approached the site plan and detailed design in a way that properly reflects the upscale nature of the Four Seasons brand, while still ensuring a fun and memorable experiences for families.
