Overview

The Rif Fort Renaissance Village is a mixed-use destination attraction in downtown Willemstad, Curacao along the southwest shoreline to the port. The site consists of three parcels: a pedestrian connection from the cruise ship dock to downtown, a two-acre waterfront park, and a prestigious Renaissance Resort.

Originally constructed to protect the island’s precious harbor, the commercial space is configured within the historic 16th century Rif Fort Harbor Fortification. The Resort features a 20,000 square-foot casino and an infinity edge, salt-water lagoon which overlooks the port and the Caribbean Sea. 

EDSA was responsible for all services from conceptual design through construction administration for all aspects of the site. Services also included graphic design and environmental signage.
