Overview

As one of the largest developments in the Cayman Islands, the resort contributed more than 4% of the country’s GDP at peak construction, created nearly 400 jobs, and increased Grand Cayman’s hotel room inventory by more than 10% with 266 hotel rooms, 3 beachside bungalows, and 62 residences. Developed for approximately $300 million, the resort destination pays tribute to the classic Caymanian culture with an authentic aesthetic and introduces modern and sophisticated, yet playful amenities.

Taking care to protect the island’s natural wonders, sustainability measures are woven throughout the site. With walking paths, open-air architecture, meandering botanical gardens, coastal bike trails, solar panels, and eco-friendly materials that utilize natural elements to maximize energy efficiency, the Seafire achieved LEED® Silver certification.

EDSA provided conceptual design through construction administration services activating all outdoor spaces and assisting with programming for a quality guest experience.
