Uptown Cairo

At 200 meters above sea level, this self-contained, self-sufficient development embodies the work, live, play mantra. Spread over a succession of bluffs and valleys, this community brings the simple luxuries of a tranquil suburban lifestyle to the heart of the city. With social interaction and leisure as key development drivers, several thousand low and high-rise residential units line the hills and valleys creating an equilibrium of architecture. With varied grading blending seamlessly against the natural mountainous settings, a series of terraces are connected by winding, landscaped roads and pedestrian corridors with steps, ramps, walls, and slopes offering ever-changing perspectives and accentuating the mountain village atmosphere. Amenities include a golf course, clubhouse, several pools, a children’s play area, community center, international school, and acentral square with trendy eateries, shopping, and state-of-the-art entertainment.

EDSA worked with a talented group of designers in completing master plans for the distinct villages of Levana, The Fourteen, Celesta Hills, and Fountainside Residences. Additionally, EDSA advanced ‘The Fourteen’ village through detailed design.
