As landscape architects, we’re responsible for decoding and combining natural, cultural and economic forces to influence the design of great places. We must respect nature and history, challenge convention and imbue both reality and fantasy in our designs.

Robert M. Dugan PLA

Principal

For more than 40 years, Bob has been an innovator, designer and team leader. His ability to creatively meld planning principles with distinctive detailing has resulted in his projects positively influencing the social fabric and economic vitality of regions. Bob submits that any design has merit, but it is how you integrate, employ and solidify those concepts that differentiates a project outcome and end-user experience. He has a profound respect for land, people, heritage and preservation, allowing their influences to shape responsible design within a functional, durable framework.
