Overview

This first of its kind technical institute strengthens and transforms the higher education model by providing training for young people to meet the growing labor demands of the private sector. Slated as one of the most environmentally advanced projects in Panama, the multi-dimensional campus emphasizes sustainability and innovation. Maximizing site opportunities and minimizing the impact of construction and development, the entire property is designed as net-zero energy, with no electricity drawn from the city’s grid.

With 50% of the total area remaining as open space, the technical school showcases responsible development where land preservation and a greater empathy for the environment are highlighted.

EDSA integrated program elements into the overall vision master plan including location of buildings and site structures, as well as layout, hierarchy and character of plazas, parks and green spaces, pedestrian and vehicular circulation.
